My engine is unusually noisy from the bottom of the engine after the hot car.

After the shift, slowly accelerate, about 2000rpm up and down, the sound from the bottom is particularly obvious.

like the title says …… i'm after taking a power pick up off the back light so that it is "switched" does anyone know what colour the live feed is to the back light cheers...…….2019 RS

I'm about to buy an old Yamaha from a guy in Pueblo, Colorado.

I'm located here In the UK, with no way of getting to look st the 'bike.

Hi All.
Bought this 2014 a few months ago and this was the one that I saw at the dealers the 1st week it was for sale, but way too expensive, the original owner had it on craigslist for many months and I eventually got it.
It rides amazing and sounds great too with the shorty pipe.
The tank I had painted (high end painter, not your backstreet job) and I designed the red stripe like a Ducati.

GF not rode it yet, if she likes it, Ill buy the triumph rear shocks that will lower it 1.5 inches and lower the front forks...

I am not looking for a new level of power or performance. I just want that beautiful inline to operate as the motor God intends. I want to remove the factory tune towards super lean operation to satisfy government requirements. Of course anything else is a bonus. What do you recommend?

In my country Poland i must pay all year insurance.
It cost me 160złoty (around 40 US dolars) per 12 months.

Oil threads usually bring up a lot of controversy elsewhere.
Should be fine here, no haters.

Factory fills are often talked and argued about. Questioning whether it's break-in oil or
such stuff. Must stay in for 1st 600 miles..... on and on.

Looks like Yamaha doesn't use anything special. It's close to a virgin sample of
Yamalube 10w40 I saw. I hope this photobucket link is showing, click for clearer picture. I think?

I have read dozens of posts on various motorcycle forums where someone was changing their wheel size. They usually don't explain why they are doing this, I guess just assuming everybody knows.

Sometimes they change both wheels sometimes just the front or just the rear.

What are they trying to accomplish?

Why do people switch to 17 inch wheels on the CB1100?
