I told Takashi how it looked like the US was getting only one color CB again for 2014 also the talk on here about color changing. I said a package deal might do well? He did it, 35% off on the site.

Except for the rear tailight, turn signals and mirrors, the bike is done. The seat is the high version and is far and away the best addition to the bike. I was just too cramped before.

Has anyone found options for spark plug wires? I really like the red look on the Mugen edition but I have not been able to find any. I would want them to be high quality and not a build your own type.

Has anyone purchased a Corbin seat to replace the stock seat? If so are u happy?
They are pretty expensive.

My wife and I ran into a rider (Tim) on a 2001 WS650 after we took a fortuitous wrong turn. The Tim is in his mid-50s and has several bikes including a CBR1000. We had a nice chat and he told the story of his Kawasaki twin.

It seems the guy he bought it from in NJ rider had removed (and lost) the beautiful chrome tank badges, had crudely removed the Kawasaki lettering from the back of the seat, and even took the WS650 decals off the beautiful steel side panels. To top it off he replaced everything with Triumph logos in an attempt to pass it off as a Bonneville.

The rear brake had never been used, the front was metal to metal, and the rear tire was incredibly flat spotted. What a mess.

Fortunately Tim appreciates a classic when he sees one and gave the bike a lot of TLC and returned it to nearly stock. It's a sharp bike with gorgeous 2 tone tank, big spoke wheels, big chrome fenders, and other nice touches.

Tim couldn't say enough good things about the CB1100 and knew a lot about the bike. Here is a poor quality pic taken with a cell phone of the 2 poised together.

Actually I have not been there with the CB (yet) but, when I'm sad and want to dream a little bit, I take a look at these webcams:

This is a book I read last year which I think many of you might enjoy. Granted, the book is about a Harley, but more importantly it's about a trip across America during a simpler time, and a son's desire to relive that journey with his father later in life. I give it two thumbs up.

Honda manual never mention when break-in period end, I assume it ends around 5K miles mark.

Am I correct?

How do i know my bike is fully break-in?
