Except for the rear tailight, turn signals and mirrors, the bike is done. The seat is the high version and is far and away the best addition to the bike. I was just too cramped before.

That is so clean! I love that you went all out with the red. The cowl and the side cover really makes it. and that classy piping on the seat... wowza! nice job

RE: Almost complete - the Ferret - 09-05-2013

Very, very nice! I too love all the red.

RE: Almost complete - CB4ME_imp - 09-05-2013

Beautiful!

Is that a Chic Design Road Comet and a Staintune exhaust? What model shocks are those?

Your bike is awesome!

RE: Almost complete - HikerToo_imp - 09-05-2013

Why not a short list of what yopu have done?
Is that the only fairing you tried, or do you have another to compare it to?

RE: Almost complete - darmahman_imp - 09-05-2013

So it is a Chic fairing and side covers from Takashi. The paint match and quality of parts for these additions, all of them, are at least as high quality as the bike, if not better. Also a High double tuck roll K+ H seat from Takashi.
Staintune exhaust and Ohlin shocks. Thats it, all for a mere ... $3300 plus the bike! I am insane.
Once I saw Takashi's site I knew what I wanted. Honda's look best in red. Well, that is what I think anyway, and that is worth about a small cup of coffee. Smile

Here is an update on this topic:

I suppose if you could easily remove/replace the spark plug caps without damaging anything you could paint the caps?

Dear Takashi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I did do some more research and it looks like the wires on the CB 1100 are permanently connected to the Coil Assembly. However, it does look like you can change the CAP ASSY., NOISE SUPPRESSOR (spark plug cap) but I don’t know if this can be purchased in RED or how difficult this would be to replace.

I wonder how they accomplished the RED wires and spark plug cap on the Mugen bike?

Kind regards,
Allen
