Went to the garage this morning ( 19 degrees in NY ) to start some equipment, frozen and snapped accelerator cable on our utility vehicle, ether out for the 1st time with our diesels. Getting to old for this, NC is looking better and better.

Hiker, I few people i know have moved to Mid Delaware and love it down there. Much lower taxes, more bang for the buck than Westcheter County, NY and within driving distance to kids and grandchildren.

Wife and I grew up in Northern Del ( different than southern Del), our family is here and we make a good living, but would still rather have warmer winters, cooler summers and less humidity, maybe some day.

Become "SnowBirds" and drive the RV down for the winter pulling the trailer with the bike(s)/Toy(s) and then in the spring time come back up for the northern springs/summers.

After 22 years in Upstate NY (Binghamton area ) we moved to the Asheville NC area and truly love it here.
No need to do anything special with your bikes as even in the winter there are good days to ride.
