I am surprised that I have not heard anything about the stock power outlet (at least on my bike). I suppose this is an SAE outlet for battery tending purposes? Is there any reason it can't be used for a heated jacket liner?

Speaking of which, what liners are ya'll running?

I installed a full Yoshimura system on my bike just as soon as I bought it. I love the exhaust. It sounds great, it looks good, it’s very light, easy to install, and it definitely helps in the power department.

I have it running with the O2 sensor installed.

My dilemma is that the exhaust is quite fumey. I miss the cat. My wife is sucking fumes the entire time she rides with me. I use the bike to commute to work so I don’t want to show up smelling like the track.

Would a tune help? Flash or PCV? I was under the impression most bikes run lean from the factory and a tune would enrichen the mixture. In my mind a richer mixture would make the problem worse. Do I need to eliminate the O2 sensor? Some sort of wind deflection?

I will be installing handlebar risers and need advice on how to remove the plastic bolt head covers which cover the bolts that hold the stock risers to the triple tree. What tool do I need to use to remove the covers and can they be re-used, or do I need to pony up for new ones from Honda?

Just installed the Superbrace & want to retorque the axle pinch bolts. I guessed at 25 #, but would like something more accurate than my guess. Thanks, Rocket

Installed a vinyl racing stripe on my tank this weekend. Plan to do the same with my Hakofugu red fender and Chic Sport trunk once they arrive.

It's vinyl so easy to experiment with. May go with painted down the road.

Now I am just thinking about alarm system. Something talks to me that it will be better to install it. But wich one?

If some of you installed some security system, please, tell about your experience.

I got back from MSF classes early yesterday and before I began rewriting the Honda shop manual for Honda (see the latest oil thread), I began looking the bike over in detail. My eyes wandered to the back brake and noticed what looked like a hydraulic line or and noticed the rear brake foot control did not need much pressure or distance to actuate the rear brake, sans a hydraulic brake. So here is the question, is it hydraulic and if so, where is the master cylinder for it?
