hello.my 2014 cb1100 low oil pressure red light does not light.
ground from switch to gauge checks fine.
i have illumination for both gauges,
does the gauge light and the low op light use the same hot lead?
if not which color wire supplys the power for light.
the ign wire black/brown is my guess
thank you for your help

That is my understanding as well, 1974.
The lights used for oil pressure etc. are led's, they last forever which is why they are so suitable for this job.
Led's run on 3 volts and so need a resistor in series to run on higher voltages.
Could be there is a bad soldering joint inside the cluster which prevents the led from operating,
and a link to a german video with a 2013 instrument cluster, this is not your type but it may give you an idea what to expect for the repair;
And how it's put together;

Have you checked that the oil switch opens with the engine running and the blue led lights up with the high beam?

If the led is no good I can replace that I have experience soldering smd LEDs on gauge clusters pm me if you find that is the issue

More often than not, LED "failure" is due to poor power supply characteristics, that is, the power circuitry is problematic and the LED is fine.

Hopefully the world can flush and turn that nonsense around.

One more thing; what is the volt meter reading between the DISCONNECTED oil pressure switch wire and ground with the ignition switch in run?

i've always checked those with continuity cb doesn't use a ground interrupted switch for the dummy light ?
