This is good data to keep for future use. What I am dealing with is I have the locks but one of my keys went missing. I have a cheap work around, however. Gonna pad lock the rear rotor when I park at MexiMart. The wheel won't turn much. If someone is willing to push the cycle with the rear wheel locked or pick it up with a wrecker, they want it more than me. I'll take the insurance money and buy something else. Locksmith wants an arm and leg to re-key or remove locks and re-key; even more expensive. He says he politely refuses to make a key for the Harleys which are brought in, as he is assuming they were stolen. Fortunately, I didn't have to buy a pad lock as I already have a spare.
BTW, the helmet lock assembly can be bought for $37 plus 2 new bolts and shipping, which would provide 2 flat keys that may could be used for re-keying the gas lock and ignition switch. Removal on a 2014 looks complicated and there are 2 bolts which are supposed to be replaced to hold the ignition switch hardware in place. The headlight bucket and wiring inside have to be removed/disconnected first, in order to access those bolts. I don't think that's going to happen with my bike.
