Turn lights would not work

Would just use a spraycan and lightly oil through the slot for the switch, you are trying to lubricate the mechanical bits.

Only open up if all else fails, it has very short wires and is a bit disappointing inside.

Much easyer to open the headlight bucket and verify the switch wires working.

The connector is a 6 pole ( grey? ) connector and the wire colors are grey (common) orange (left) and light blue (right).
If you don't have a multimeter to verify try a short piece of wire and connect; grey/orange or grey/lblue, that should work to get the indicators going with the key on
