Anyone have an extra owners manual they would like to sell? I know some of you guys have bought a few of these bikes and thought you might have a spare. My used 14 didn't come with one. It use to be you could download the owners manual for free.

My final destination yesterday was a visit to Twisted Throttle. Until a few days ago I didn't realize they had a brick and mortar store. I walked in the door and felt like I had just stepped out of a corn field into NYC. Nice store !

I've been checking out good helmets online, read a lot of reviews, but really wanted to be able to switch back and forth between different brands and sized in real time. They had Shuberth, a first for me in person. The sales staff was great, but did boot me out about a 1/2 hour after closing time. Never made it past the helmets......

Has anyone ever done this?
It's not just in California; they offer courses in many places around the country. I am thinking of taking a level 1 class in New Jersey in May with a couple of friends. I'd be interested in your opinion if you've worked with these people.

Had to roll up to Myrtle Beach on Friday for a little business, and decided to stop by and have lunch at Steve's (ss2wheels) sandwich shop. Would have loved to had road the bike, but decided to cage it due to the weather. We had a good chat about the upcoming rally in VA, and a few other things. Hopefully I will be able to catch up with him again soon when it is a little warmer and I can ride the bike up.

Today I rode some highways
For the first time since december when I got the bike I got to ride the highway in DRY conditions from start to finish.

It gave me a chance to really test my Road Comet with the aero touring screen.
It makes a lot of wind noise and I will be ordering the normal size screen to compare, I've also read a lot of comments this is the size to go in terms of wind noise.

That said. When tuck down I can reach top speed of my CB
2 things I noticed:

1. The front end was very wobbly at the front end, it made me scared.
I reached 171-171 km/h in 6th, thats about 106mph.
Dunno why it became so wobbly at front...was it caused by the fairing, or the wind cause there was a lot of wind today, about 25mph according to the forecasts.

2. when reaching top speed it sometimes felt jerky as if the fuel got cut off all of a sudden and than it would suddenly reapply power wich was a bit of a surprise when you regain power at such high speeds.

I assume that was the Electronic speed limiter kicking in?
Do all bikes have it?
I read a topic here stating its because of Japanese law, but this is not Japan.
So do you guys in America have it too?

Do the fellow Europeans here have it?
Mine is a 2014 EX model btw.

I assume this could cause the front to wobble at high speed?

It may only be Saturday afternoon in the US as I write, but Down Under it's early Sunday morning and the Forum is telling me it's Immgun's birthday today. That'll be tomorrow in the US.

Hey folks, full disclosure here, I work at the dealership selling this bike. I checked with Ferret and Guth about posting this, and they are ok with it as long as I disclose my relationship and make clear that I will not be involved in the sales process or negotiation of price, etc.

As the title states, it's a black 2014 Standard. I'll snap a pic later and add to the thread, but y'all know what it looks like. I can't provide a price, but I know the sales manager wants this unit gone as long as it's been there. Honda has a $1000 rebate to help out, so hopefully someone can get a good deal.

I found a letter in the mail today from American Honda, figured they were pushing an extended warranty. Opened it up and found a survey along with a flat crisp dollar bill. Has anyone else gotten anything like this? I guess I'll go get a lotto ticket with that dollar since that won't even buy you a beer these days.

Just saw this for sale in NSW, Australia. The owner is wanting more than the new price.
