I am one step away from buying a CB 1100 standard because I did not find a DLX model.. but were can I find a Dual exhaust ,, I am in USA, But on line I found a Dual Exhaust for CB 1100 standard bike, can I get this in USA,or were can I find a CB 1100 DLX model in USA.

Finally put enough miles on these tires to get a good idea of performance and longevity.

Technology is great. The carcass and rubber compounds allow these tires to have superior compliance and grip, while seeming to have better wear characteristics than either the stock Dunlops or Bridgestones.

Tire pressures can be comfortably lower than stock recommendations. I inspected the tread after a long fast ride yesterday and it was obvious the tires were not getting very warm. I was running 33/39, front/rear.

I dropped the front to 32 psi, and the rear to 38 psi. Went on a fairly scorching ride up and down a nice, fast (60-70 mph turns) road nearby.

When I got home I checked the pressures right away. Front had increased to 35.5 psi, and the rear to 43.5 psi. Ambient temperature did not change significantly so these increases are pretty accurate.

The front is just right and shows the kind of wear I would expect from a spirited street ride. The rear increased slightly more than the 10-12 percent I was targeting, so I will probably go up 0.5 psi and see what results I get.

Finally got to ride the CB1100, for a grand total of 27 miles! Rode it home from brother-in Laws warehouse Monday evening, rode it to work yesterday. 2 observations, 1. way too much slop in throttle, which I adjusted out when I got home from work; 2. Rear brakes don't do squat, at least compared to other bikes I've ridden. Still pondering that.

All in all, a big thumbs up.

Looking forward to some destination riding this summer.....

Anyone know where this road might be? This sign is nailed to the wall in the back patio area of a pub in the Duboce Triangle district in San Francisco. I've searched the web but can't turn anything up. The employees at the pub don't know where it came from.

i need a lower seat, so i went to a upholsterer and asked him to
lower my seat.
I have a 2015 CB1100 EX or DLX, and the upholsterer says he can only get
1cm or 0,4 inches because of the ground plate.

witch is about 3cm or 1,2 Inches lower than mine.

Is there a different ground plate or just a different foam?
With the same plate, the foam must be very thin.

Just ordered one from Bike Bandit. 160/60. $120.44 shipped. I've been touching the Yoshimura pipe down on occasion, hope this might give me a little extra ground clearance. Can't jack the shocks up any higher

I've decided to sell my 2013 and get one just like it with ABS. I just moved back to the San Diego area and have had a couple of emergency braking episodes and I think ABS will be safer on the mad house freeways here.

We had 3 days of just wonderful weather 20 degrees above normal. The bikes were out everywhere. My wife had thought about not riding any
more but we went out on Sun. for a short Sunday ride about 70 miles. After we got back we sat down and she said, well guess I will keep the TU250 another year. She is 68.
Monday our weather held. Highs into the 80s. So I thought it would be good to get my riding legs ready for the long ride to Bland. I bought a new First Gear tank bag. I think it will work out well.
This loop is to ride to Prairie du Chien on Hwy. 18 and turn around back on Hwy. 60 to 14.
Filling up and leaving the city takes 30-40 min. . Fighting traffic .
It's 4 lane till Dodgeville and then 18 splits from Hwy.151 and
becomes two lane. Very smooth and strait for here. Looks a lot like
Iowa along here. Large farms, flat. Traffic is very light , with some
very large tractors running down the road with some Amish buggies
running the shoulders.

The road is so smooth you really find the CB running sooo smooth.
Passing through small towns you come to Fennimore where the road turns a little ruff but the farms are smaller and it becomes a little more rolling. You see more beef and you can smell the pig farms.
When 18 joins Hwy. 35 it starts the decent to the river valley.
Prairie du Chien is a river town where the Wisconsin river meets the Mississippi river.
I stop for lunch and fuel .

I start back on Hwy 60. This follows the river with some nice sweepers and very little or no traffic.

The road is just great and I stop to take in the river and the solitude .

Gliding along it becomes more enjoyable and the corners become tighter . Then all of a sudden you take one last turn and you come into Gothem ,a small berg where it hits Hwy. 14. Kind of like waking
up from a good dream. Back to the real world. I make good time back to Madison and hit town before traffic is to bad.
All told a good ride, 225 miles and 58 mpg over all and still got home
for coffee and ice cream.

anyone know where I can get small turn signals that will just plug into existing factory wiring? Hate to cut.
