Pictures of my CB when she was new well tuck in the shipping crate
Posted by: 17-CB-002 - 08-18-2020, 05:18 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (7)

From one of earlier treads, one forum member wanted to see the CB in the shipping box/crate; while cleaning up my hard drive I was able to locate a few pictures taken when I picked her up.

The mirrors and battery was in the separate cardboard box in the crate, everything else was fully assembled.

Note: The bike was firmly held by the handlebar clamp (steering head clamp) and foot pegs and the tires were tight in their respective track.

Only Pre Delivery inspection items were to install the battery, pump the tires, "Inspect" the oil level and adjust the clock.
The battery red terminal cap can be seen hanging loose by the cover.
The accessory box can be seen tied up beside the rear tire.

BTW, the last 4 digits of the VIN # is 0002

  New Boots!

If anyone needs a deal on new boots, Revzilla is blowing out Tourmaster Epics for $85. I have stupid wide feet, so, with one 11W left in stock, I pulled the trigger last night. They already landed at my office, and they feel like they just might work.

Ryan F9 just released a new video, showing a rather graphic demonstration involving a hammer and hiking boots...

Found this period correct clamp on EBay cheap.

Will polish it up and clear coat it again.

  Ben Affleck's New BMW
Posted by: Gone in 60 - 08-17-2020, 06:01 AM - Forum: Other Bikes - Replies (30)

Big news today about Ben Affleck's girlfriend giving him a new custom BMW. Apparently he was so excited to ride it that he didn't even take the time to peel the label off of the helmet.

... or am I missing something here?

Did the Chip Beck tail light mod. Definitely worth the effort and the result is exactly what I was hoping for. Its a shame that HONDA covers up that chrome fender[Image: 555dafd4cf9d32717610efde104b056c.jpg][Image: cf30bb28db024091e2ed7f473c62c73a.jpg]

Need a complete electrical diagram that must include DLC/DTC connector.
This one is an Australian model but don't think is so essential??
Thanks!

Road rage incident caught on dash cam

This is a fairly long video, so give it a little time, but you’ll see a black pickup truck intentionally accelerating and then making a lane change into the first of three riders in the left lane of this interstate freeway just south of Denver. We don’t know what precipitated this but hopefully the driver is convicted on attempted murder and finds himself behind bars.

Posted by: Endeavour_imp - 08-16-2020, 06:32 AM - Forum: Accessories/Modifications - No Replies

Looking for a tank pad for the black 2017 CB1100RS I just picked up

Does anyone know if the CB650 one fits ok, or have any recommendations which Honda pad fits CB1100 well?

Thanks

This one is Honda part 08P71-MKN-D50
I like the look of the Tulip one too but looks too big https://images.app.goo.gl/mwWpf8PARVwqYNMS6
