Pictures of my CB when she was new well tuck in the shipping crate - 17-CB-002 - 08-18-2020

From one of earlier treads, one forum member wanted to see the CB in the shipping box/crate; while cleaning up my hard drive I was able to locate a few pictures taken when I picked her up.

The mirrors and battery was in the separate cardboard box in the crate, everything else was fully assembled.

Note: The bike was firmly held by the handlebar clamp (steering head clamp) and foot pegs and the tires were tight in their respective track.

Only Pre Delivery inspection items were to install the battery, pump the tires, "Inspect" the oil level and adjust the clock.
The battery red terminal cap can be seen hanging loose by the cover.
The accessory box can be seen tied up beside the rear tire.

BTW, the last 4 digits of the VIN # is 0002

Yep well worth the $200 ( or whatever) set up the dealer tries to tack on when you buy it . Rolleyes

Alain omitted to mention the dealer had to put the mirrors on. There’s half your $200. Confused

Alain thanks for the memorable nice pictures, i am somehow interested how the bikes are presented to the dealer in an effort to eliminate assembly issues and mistakes as part of honda care for their products.

Watched many video's trying to answer this question; does the bike ship with battery in place but disconnected?

Things may have changed but i was under the impression that every bike was tested on the roller test fixture which includes starting and running the bike and proving all parts are working and verified on this last station before packaging.
It now seems that they remove the battery, put it back in it's carton case and ship it separately in the box with the mirrors, interesting and thanks for the helpful info.

Max they probably have an auxiliary power source to fire up the bike.
