A one owner bike that's been sitting since 1979.

Who has put the most miles to date on their CB's?
And what year / model is it?

In addition, who's taken the longest, round trip, trip on their CB?

1973 my first Honda, 1963 C110 Sport Cub. Now my 2nd red Honda 41 years later. No helmet laws then, how did I ever survive? The push rod motor of that old bike had a top speed of 50mph, lousy tires and all. I rescued that motorcycle from under a pile of hay in a barn, owner didn't know if it ran so he gave it to me. A little oil, gas, a clean spark, and a couple of tire tubes and I got that little bike running. Having owned several dozen of motorcycles since then, that C110 still makes me smile.

I'm ready to buy a new 2014 Deluxe. Anyone know of one available at a Northeast dealer ? I'm in Vermont & would like to find one somewhere between Philadelphia and Maine ? Thanks, Rocket

Recommendations for oil filter? Or has anyone used the K&N and what is the correct part number?

Broke down and brought a new 2014 Wing yesterday, should be able to pick it on Tuesday. Can't wait.

So I was gonna start fabricating my exhaust, but naturally I need to know the content of the steel. So I figured I'd bust out my $35k Niton Analyzer and hit it with some X-rays! Turns out the entire stock system is 304 stainless.

Also, the Niton isn't mine.. but I had one at work! Cool, right?

I like this bike, not crazy about the looks, but it would be a great road bike with good ergos. Biggest asset is the VFR800 motor, one of Honda's best but only available here with the "fetal position" ergos that don't fit with many riders.

At 63, Jim retired about the same time I did last year. A dedicated motorcyclist. Since I have known him he has had a Harley Fat Boy, an 1200 Sportster, a couple Yamahas FZ-1s, a Yamaha FJR, a couple Kawasakis Versys, a Suzuki DL 1000. He has been riding since the 70's.

Well the email I got at 5:30 am said he had sold his bike and was quitting riding. I just can not imagine quitting voluntarily. My second riding buddy to just up and sell their bikes and quit after many many years of riding. ( the second one has had some health issues at 68 years old).

I am in shock. I know Jim reads this forum, so Jim if you see this, I'm going to miss riding with you, it's been a real pleasure. If you change your mond, give me a call and we will ride!

A new helmet feels so good, my Shoei Multitec is an 06 and you can feel it in the padding!
Not having any constant highway speeds out here, this helmet helps out with a much bigger field of vision. Extra lightweight C/F and a ton of venting. It's the newest Fox V4 Reveal.
