Agreed.

I always assumed in regards to these type of organized gatherings in the greater L.A. area that there would be an endless bounty of classic vehicles given the population density and generally agreeable climate for riding/driving year round. Maybe that assumption is wrong or out-of-date.

Ha. Yes, that is probably true. The CBX was a "Halo Bike" for Honda.

Like the Pantera got you into a Mercury showroom, so you'd buy a Montego wagon.
A GT got you into the Ford showroom, so you'd buy a Taurus.
A Viper got you into a Dodge showroom to buy a Caravan.
