Changing Placement of Rear Turn Signals

(Long story sorta short)... had some saddle bags on my 14' but the weight of the lights kept snapping my license plate/turn signal bracket (cheap metal) so I just stripped off the bags and I'm confused on how to re-mount the turn signals in OEM fashion. The person who did the original mount ended up shoving through the taillight wires and stop light wires into one hole (see pics).

Not sure how I'm supposed to get those wires back out? Do I need to pull out that leads going into the turn signal housings (they are in there very tight)?

Any other words of wisdom on re-mounting the lights to their natural habitat??

You are ahead of me and the work on my DLX. I have to replace the left rear assembly because it is bent so bad it will not straighten out and the lens is faded badly. I am replacing the lens on the other three only. I have already noticed the screws are internal and cannot be reached without removing the turn signal mounting hardware. You cannot see the screws from the installed position. I am going to read up on this task in the Shop Manual before I proceed.
(if you do not have an official Honda Shop Manual, I highly recommend one. I bought one off EBay for all models from 2013 to the 2017 EX & RS. It has helped immensely along with the official "CB1100 Forum Gang". The bunch at this Forum are a Godsend of info!.

If the connectors are like mine they are very small and likely fit one by one through that opening, if you remove seat ( with the engine off ) and pull out the black plastic tool basket in front of the battery you can see the orange and light blue connectors in the clear plastic cover.
They unclip and can be worked back toward the rear of the bike.

It looks like they can fit through that opening one at a time, the cables near those connectors are a smaller diameter than the sheathed ones that travel through this opening, so pull both back, bring the connectors close to the opening and use the smaller diameter wires to pass the connectors one at a time.

I got the lights repositioned but in doing so had to take off rear fender and all of its assemblies. I took a picture to help remind me how to put it back together but I've hit some snags. Anyone have any schematics on which bolt goes to what on the rear of the bike?

*I obviously don't have a service manual
