The 2017 gives a much better ride STOCK than the 2013 and 2014 ever did. I did put Ohlins on my 13/14 bikes and that made a big difference.I have not have time to take my 2014 with 2017 forks for a ride yet.

I might notice the difference if I went back and test ride a 2013 now. But I moved all of the accessories from my 2013 over to the 2017 so it felt like the bike I was already used to except for the shift points.

Today I rode my 2014 with the 2017 forks for about 80 miles on twisty roads .
The ride was much improved and no regrets spending the money. Is it worth $ 750 ? ; it is if you keep your bike for some years and/or if you live in a area like WNC or similar roads . It takes less than an hour to change the forks but you will need a torque wrench.

I’d pay the $750 again all day long, but I didn’t buy this bike ever planning on selling it.
Especially since it is a quick bolt on that allows you to sell your stock forks to offset hundreds of the cost! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just finished installing (thread to follow) the '17 forks and Ikon shocks - I can't believe the difference. It's like a brand new bike, I can actually ride it again.
Absolutely, 100% worth it. If you don't notice a difference between stock and these upgrades then you either live in an area where the roads really aren't that bad or you weigh $1.25. I tested the bike out on a back road that is just above a goat path but still paved, the last time I took the CB on it I was pretty much crippled. Today was good. Awesome.

They are almost as good as the inverted forks on my Ulysses. Thanks Josh for recommending them, you saved my CB1100 from going on the auction block. |
