Can the electrical system HANDLE a constant 100-watt draw?
How about the headlight wiring itself?
For the CB...I'd entertained the thought of going 55/100 watts...have the HI there for the rare times its used.
One reason I haven't, is that I'm seldom out after dark anymore. Too many deer on the road, and no real reason to be riding after dark. All I ride for, is gone with the sun - it's cold, dark, dangerous. It's a good way, not to have a pleasant ride, but to die messily on the pavement.
So...while good lights are always essential, for now I'll stick with the stock unit.
