After riding some years i found that the throttle cables started to develop a permanent bend due to the too acute bending when the steering is fully locked to the right.
My solution was to rotate the forward support loop 90 degrees and out of the way so the cables have more room to move forward and to lower the cables from the rear support on the frame by a black string for the same reason.
Both cables now have a good amount of movement without too much bending, i also have the lower handlebars so that may make some difference in your case, check the cables for excessive bending when the steering is in the right hand lock position.
