There are clearances in the throttle housing, if there weren't it could hang up and leave the throttle on. It is normal. If you took the rh switch housing apart you'd see the channel the throttle tube flange runs in is wider than the flange on the throttle tube.It's funny when you get something new that you always seem to discover things you never felt before.
You will also find your instruments will move forward and back a little bit... Again, normal.
Also to anyone who has gotten a bike lately, check the connection for the brake light and clutch interlock under the switch housings. A few of us have found those about to fall off and have black taped them up. I will try and find a thread and link it for you.
