Handlebar Top Clamp Variance

change them over and see if the gaps are still different , could be that the caps are slightly different in the machining ; check them carefully.

Suspecting that the large gap clamp was incorrect, I bought a second cap for the right side. This resulted in a gap that was the same or a bit larger. Unfortunately, the problem most likely lies in the bottom saddle or the bar diameter. On a side note, the two bar dimples by the clamps are in different positions. The right dimple, when lined up with the right clamp gap, positions the left dimple higher than the left clamp gap. I wonder if the bar is bent improperly or the dimples were struck incorrectly.
