Its easy as said. And there is no gasket.
Book says “engine oil will run out when the alternator cover is removed”.
When reinstalling, a sealant (Three Bond 1207B or equiv) is used on the mating surfaces as shown (in the book, not here
).
And you have to be careful you don’t get your fingers mashed as the “alternator cover (stator) is magnetically attracted to the flywheel, be careful during installation”.
