I still wonder how effective cooling is when the warm air accumulates in the mostly closed plastic shell of the original CB headlamp assembly. Maybe it is a non-issue if the temperatures approach that of the halogen bulb or is less. However, the LED electronics have to still tolerate the internal headlight ambient temperature, something that is a non-issue for a halogen bulb (no electronics).

I'm not sure. The website describes a brushless fan which cools things. You wouldn't know it by looking at it though. Certainly can't hear anything. They're about twice the price of the native h4 bulbs.
