To all electrical wizards: would it be hard to modify the CB1100 electrical wiring in order to swap the light horn and sound horn switches?
Has anyone ever tried adding/substituting a form of sound horn switch underneath the turn signal?

Someone has swapped 2013 and 2014 controllers before. The 2013 has the standard horn and turn controls. 2014 had them swapped. Parts are interchangeable from what I understand.

I put both sides '13 controls on my '14- both for the more traditional look, and to stop hitting the horn all the time.
If I remember correctly the locating pins were in a different spot- but I was swapping on rebel handlebars at the same time so had to drill anyway.
The wiring and plugs were the same, no modifications needed.

Yep put a 13 switch on mine as have a few others. Plug and play except for drilling a new locating hole, and the 13 uses different length screws.
