Installed! The 16mm long license plate screws were a bit long for mine. A lock washer on one side, with the flat washer on the other side, fixed it. Kenny, thank you again for a much more elegant mount than the OEM.

I am guessing you don't have a license plate frame? That probably makes up for the difference.

The license plate frame makes the 16 mm screws just right for acorn nuts. Otherwise the next step down is typically 12 mm long screws. I think adding the extra washer was the better way to go than a shorter screw.
