Air box removal
#21
I have no idea what you are using for parts this is what I added at least the short list.
Yoshimura full exhaust
TSR Funnels
TSR Air Filter Funnel
K&N Air Filter
Secondary Air plate cut outs

I did not have any problems with the sensors or anything. It was all plug and chug. Yes I did move the air sensor over from the original exhaust to the Yoshimura one. I too had my ECU programmed by Guhl's.

When it came time to drill the 2 10mm holes, I think that was the size, just mark the spot and use a hand electric drill. I might have used a 2mm drill to pre drill the hole first. Just use easy pressure and it will go right through easy as pie. I deburred the edges with a knife when done.

When it came time to open the holes for the TSR Funnels, a few minutes with a small sanding drum on my dremel and it was done. If I remembered right you open it up to a ledge and that makes it very simple to do. Once you do the first one the rest take just minutes because you know where to stop.

This was a very easy job and just takes time. I think you are overthinking it.

Good luck let us know how you do.

Thx for your help.Stuck with air box.Can not unscrew that plastic cover at the rear fender.2 bolts at the seat lock area can’t find.

So forced the air box cover. With 7 screws.now can not screw it back.Looks like air intakes 2 big need to shave some plastic and put on silicone.

I hope you do not need to use silicone. Not the best option here. Look close at what you are doing.

Do you have the Service Manual? I think I am a pretty good mechanic but I still bought and used the manual for this job. It was very helpful.

I went through my pictures but none of them will help you. When I assembled my Airbox half to the Throttle Bodies, I put the Airbox in place over the Throttle Bodies FIRST. I THEN attached and fitted the TSR Funels after I had opened up the holes. Again when I did this I opened up the holes to a ridge and it was very easy. The Funels were a snug fit in the Airbox cover but still had enough room to allow them to be fitted after the airbox was in place on the Throttle Bodies. If you attach the Funels to the Airbox before fitting to the Throttle Bodies it will not go. Please do not use silicone. It will not go well for you.

I hope this helps.
