Today the CB passed it's 4th technical observation called TÜV after 8 years and 67.500km without any problems. Spend 72€ for it, it gets more expensive each year. The engineer was the same as two years ago. He likes Honda and the CB. I know why. In 2 years I have to play the same game again and so on.
Interesting Wisedrum. Much of Canada does not have this statutory requirement.
Only required upon [re-]sale of a vehicle that is to be licensed.
We don't have it in Ireland for motorcycles and classic cars either but regular cars must start testing after they are four years old.
We did mandatory automobile emission testing every two years for decades for cars older than four or five years - if I recall correctly. Motorcycles were exempt.
That was scrapped a few years ago in Ontario, Canada.

We never had the emissions test, but do have the mechanical inspection every two years for all vehicles and bikes.
Vintage bikes registered as antique are exempt.
We have have to do a test every year in order to renew the registration, only new vehicles up to 3 years old are exempt from testing. Cars with classic car registration are exempt as well, but they can only be driven a certain number of kilometers per year.

Glad i dont have to do that stuff here in Oklahoma no inspections at all anymore my 1986 camaro i put a 489 bbc in is legal and registered as a 2.8L v6 so cheap insurance as well

seat is definatly a little hard did you notice with yours it took a while for the seat too break it?
