Ride highlight: There's a quarter-mile of flat farm road over which I have traveled many times since it leads to my family's old summer home and to some of my favorite places to ride motorcycles. Over the years, I have laid waste to no fewer than four animals: a skunk and two cats (in the same incident) and squirrel on my motorcycle (with five riders following me as witnesses). I added another specimen to my 1300 foot menagerie of mechanized death in the form of a small, dark-colored, bird that flew into my left foot at I traversed the area yesterday. My boot and the foot it covered were undamaged.

Crazy weather eh Sea?

Sounds like small critters on that stretch of highway have a short life expectancy when you are in the neighborhood.

Took a ride out on a great twisty road, didn't see one car.
Went out to a Corp. of Engineer park on Beaver lane, smoked a stogie and watched the sun set. Excuse the dirty bike.

Almond blossom time in the north valley.
Pronounced ammunds by the folks that grow em. Beautiful to look at and ride through, on a short spin in the neighborhood.
