Sep 1, 2017 #9 N Nortoon_imp Road warrior On my first ride on my new CB1100 EX I heard a flapping noise. When I stopped I found the clear plastic protective film had not been removed from the bottom of one of the forks. Fortunately the rest of it was easy to peel off.

Sep 1, 2017 #11 Cormanus Administrator Staff member Thread starter Maybe all CBs have had them and occasionally they don't get removed.
