Romo, is the arm and indicator going to be held by only one bolt? Or is there something like a notch in it to stop it from swinging down. If it come loose or pressure is put from the top.

I believe the notch thought was addressed before...

No bar required. It's aluminum. Super light. And it tightens to the rail nice and firm. May add a tab to insert into the rail where there is a slot to eliminate swing. But need to set the angle fixed for that. Some may want the extension level to ground. Some may want to flow with the angle of the rail slightly upward. So may or may not do a tab. It's all super light. Looking for top down pic

I just want to know how you go from that napkin sketch to the actual part...man that's just black magic!

Then again, wouldn't it be REALLY cool if the finished part looked just like the napkin? :D

Ya, they look pretty darn good. I was a bit concerned about the finish and you nailed it nicely. :worship:

He said they were too expensive to make and that was pretty much the end of it.

Too bad as they are nice.
