2017 CB1100 EX First Ride Review

 he must have meant it, the k and d aren't even close on the keyboard.

yes of cours...if are the pegs on the same place and the bike same high over ground like the EX......only the suspensions are some stronger

This is reviving an old thread here, but I came across it and it is a thread worth reviving. What a great discussion about bikes, guitars and realizations we arrive at as we get older. In my opinion, it is worth a full read. I agree with what was said about the CB1100. I just have had my 2017 EX a couple of months, but I am really liking that bike a lot and I plan to keep it a long time. I have owned and sold dozens of bikes over my 60 years, but I have also kept some a long time. This month, I will have had my Road King 20 years, and I have had my Multistrada 11 years. The EX seems destined to be another keeper. Thanks to the earlier posters for a great thread.

among a pile of rocks, one occasionally discovers a gem

The one problem with this thread is that as I sit here in my office at work on Wednesday afternoon, all I really want to be doing is riding my CB1100 EX after pondering this thread. Looking longingly at the weekend weather forecast.......

If it’s not so hectic at work that you can stare dreamily at the forum, surely you could slide away and go for a quiet ride?

Just sayin’. :D

I wish. My uniform is a business suit and I'm in a downtown high-rise office building. My parking garage doesn't even allow motorcycles. :-/

I'm not even sure that is legal. :dodgy:

Unfortunately it is. It is private property. I actually am an attorney and if there was a way to force the issue, I would. :-/

Define private property in this scenario?

Is it just for your business- not open to the public as if I were driving around NYC or Philly and looking for a garage to park in?

Meaning- McDonalds is privately owned as well- but a place of public business and therefore access.

I'm certainly not a lawyer. Well- we can discuss bird law. :)

Josh, the McDonald's is a private business on private property and can restrict public access as long as it's not in violation of anyone's civil rights. People don't have a right to congregate on private property.

Bird law in this country is just not governed by reason!
