The pulsing may be when the piston doesn’t retract quickly and completely even like it’s supposed to .. the lowest piston is the one usually partially submerged in old fluid and moisture .. or maybe it just needed a good brake flush and bleed

What brand/make is that tyre? It looks like (maybe only in the picture) the cupping pattern is in perfect sync with the tread pattern, amd if that's the case, my guess would be that tyre construction has been the cause.
