How to remove turn signal bracket on 2013 model

My son’s friend lightly wrecked his 2013 and I’m putting it back together for him.
How do you remove the bracket holding the front turn signals?
It seems to be inserted into both the upper & lower triples.
Loosen and pull the top triple up?

Edit to add: After looking at the diagram some more, I think you may be right as it plugs in to the upper and lower triple. I'll have to look in the service manual tonight unless someone else answers.

Looks very similar to my Nighthawk. Yes, removal was to loosen and raise the upper to pull the assembly out. The challenge was the four rubber cups that go onto the four studs that locate the whole assembly. They like to fall off as you're jostling it into place.

What Gone said. I looked in the service manual and you have to remove (or at least move up) the top bridge. You are going to need a torque wrench to set the stem nut and then check/adjust the bearing pre-load.

Anybody happen to have the pinch bolts and stem nut torque settings?

Fork top bridge pinch bolts— 17 ft lbs.
Fork bottom bridge pinch bolts— 32 ft lbs.
Steering stem nut— 76 ft lbs.
