well they didn't call today either. I showed them to my brother before todays ride, and he looked at them, studied them awhile, and then handed them back to me and said "It's just a crush washer, it will seal, I wouldn't hesitate to use them"

Why can't I ever process things such as this so effortlessly? (Believe me, I don't.)

Brothers can be really good for this sort of thing.

Dang brothers. ROFL

Lol true, but thats the way my brother is. A factory trained Yamaha mechanic who by nature is just unbelievably mechanically talented. True story... I got my first street bike when I was 15. A two stroke Harley badged Italian Aermacchi. I was in high school and I came home one day from some kind of sports practice to find the top end , head, cylinder, piston, carb, exhaust etc off the bike and scattered about on the driveway. I started yelling and he told me to calm down, he would put it back together again, and he did. He just wanted to see how it worked. He was 12 at the time. If something is broken, and can be fixed, he can fix it, no matter what it is it seems. Electrical, plumbing, welding, construction doesn't matter he can do it. Wish I has a tenth of his abilities.

But lucky you that beer is cheap and he is your younger brother. Now those ribber dinner are another matter. So keep the bribe incentive bar low and keep in his good graces.

redbird, Shinchan what did you guys think and decide?

I never got a call back from the vendor, so today I used their online Customer Service email to ask them their thoughts on the subject. If I hear back from them I will let you know what they say.

I've decided that I've wasted more than $25 on stupider ideas. In other words, waiting for some other ginea pig to go first.

I am on the side of your brother. I have had plenty of cars and replaced plugs in most of them (including my 2004 Ford F-150 5.4, this motor is a spark plug nitemare). You will know right a way if they don't seal. Send me your unwanted plugs and I will put them in my bike.

I'd be interested in finding a comparable plug but in the design that has 4 prongs. An easy way to up the CR ever so slightly. I can run better gas.. Smile

Does anyone have any idea what CC the factory chambers are?
