Personally, I don’t see why it couldn’t be done on the CB. The factory does it.
The factory does it presumably with very expensive calibrated equipment- I would guess on a bench, not each complete engine while running.
The reason they say not to adjust may be some variable due to our purposely mistimed cams.
I would tell the average normal person to leave it alone.
Whatever they are feeling most likely isn't due to TB 'sync'.
The blades angle could be 100% the same- but each cyl filling certainly isn't- by design.
Heck before you want to get into TB adjustments- add fuel first- that smooths things out nicely.
