I celebrated by taking the CB out for slightly over 230 miles this morning and afternoon. Unusually beautiful day that I wasn't going to waste walking behind the power mower (another Honda) for a couple of hours.
Still have some tweaking to do on the front fork. I initially thought I'd left the compression damping too soft, but on rough-edge bumps at 65-70mph, I think I may need to soften them up just a touch by adjusting the Race Tech Gold valves. I'll do that when I up the rebound damping just a bit.
Stopped by my old BMW dealer in New Philadelphia. Quiet day there. One machine of interest to me was what I think was 1st generation of the Triumph Speed Triple, the one with the dual headlamps. Nice looking machine, clean as a pin, and extremely low mileage. A bit pricey at $7500, but that was just conversation, no dealing.
Again, thanks for the help and advice with the bike.
