BTW, that is why I have had my O2 eliminator & plug sitting in a box for the last year. The bike runs great as it is and I haven't wanted to mess with the headers either until I had an additional reason to do so.

If you have an eliminator, it just plugs into the wiring harness, and your done. No need to drop headers and remove the actual sensor itself.

I believe that veech understands that.

What he and others like myself are concerned about is that the O2 Sensor will foul beyond repair if not removed. With it unplugged but left in the header, the preheat circuit will not burn off any carbon and the sensor will just continue to coke up. Then, if one decides to remove the Eliminator Plug at a later date, the O2 sensor would likely be toast and need to be replaced. At $200 or more, that is not a cheap proposition.
