Wheel spacers
#1
Could somebody please confirm for me the L R orientation of the wheel spacers. On the rear wheel the larger spacer goes to the left (sitting on the bike).
On the front the larger spacer goes to the right.

The results of a search show this to be the case but installing the large one on the right on the front wheel does not allow the left side brake caliper to fit onto its disc. So I am confused.Dodgy
Or should both large spacers go to the left or do I just force the caliper into place?
My bike is a 2010.
Thanks for help.
