Here's what happened to my plugs and why i think the special washers were installed.
The oil coolers for the spark plugs have no escape channel for any water that may be around the plugs for some reason, it may lead to corrosion and this may be the reason Honda opted for the stainless crushwashers, the plugs themselves are identical but with the washers underneath the survival rate in case of corrosion is likely better.
These were my sparkplugs that had either been washed or sat in the rain with a cold engine ( when i got the bike ).
