I'd say the maps they provide are not ideal.
I'm not a tuner, and have only had my power commander (and autotune add-on) for a short time period- but I can tell you 2 things-
#1- even running their 'map' the auto tune made substantial changes once installed.
#2- if you look at what they are actually providing, ignore the trim table and look at the target table- they didn't do any real tuning or thought process whatsoever. Every file they provide for this bike just throws 13.2 at the entire table except for what they consider cruise range. That is not tuning- that is 'safe and good enough'.
On this bike our cruise area is lower RPM than what they picked (they start at 3500rpm!). They must be used to sport bikes.
And finally- they have a file for the '13 and a file for the '14- pretty much the same engine, and same blanket 13.2 target- but the trims on each are different.
I would *highly* suggest to people to get the auto tune box, or a real tune done on your bike live.
As for your popping- did you block the pair valve?
