careful not to set chain too tight ...you're going to have some lash in the drive train no matter what.
This is my first bike with FI and I too thought that the throttle response was a little jerky.I measured the grips on my 79 CBX and 94/95 CB1000 and the throttle grips are exactly the same size and the grip profile is also the same (no change over 34 years!) Therefor I do not think that the size is the culprit but more that I have to get used to fuel injection and be easy on the throttle.There is nothing smoother in my opinion than the throttle response on a well adjusted 6 carb Honda CBX.I will order a set of the Grip Buddies to see if that makes some difference on the CB1100 but I still think that the fuel injected bikes need a smoother action from the rider.
