All things considered, I am just going to ride it for now and stop worrying about things that don't matter... but hopefully over winter I will replace grips and maybe dig in deeper to see if there is anything I can do.  I would rather not modify the throttle tube or drill new holes in the bar, so I will revisit when I can afford to have things apart for a while. Here is one more pair of pics with bar ends visible... I think they are stock, but I don't know...

It is a very interesting topic. If you consider that you spend the most time looking at the handlebar/dash area of your bike more than anywhere else on the machine, you notice little things like this. I notice the same details on the bicycles I spend the most time on as well.

You know what? I actually would like a pickle.

Thats the reason I always spend the most time detailing the handlebar/dash area and the gas tank. It's all I see when riding it, the rest of the bike can be dirty, but I feel like I am on the shiniest bike ever when riding it.

I spend the most time looking at the road and my speedo, followed by my mirrors. I do keep those the speedo and mirrors cleaner than the rest of the bike which I don't keep clean at all lol

It doesn't matter what I ride, how far or how fast, only that I ride .... every day

My Moto Guzzi 7II had dual clocks, but the V7-850 had a single...and it was offset.
It was slightly annoying.

But I was very happy with 4 into 1 on my CB1100, as my 1976 CB750F had 4 into 1.
I probably cornered less aggressively going right than gong left.

Interesting tail light on the MG.

Sometimes the road not travelled is best left that way. (Jane Goodall)
