Rear turn signal conversion to Running lights?

As the title suggest, is there a way to convert the rear turn signals to running lights? I know th laws read that you cant have rear amber running lights. But i found a kit on twisted throttle that has led bulbs that have both the amber for turn signals but red rfor running and brake lights.

Not sure if this would work on the cb11's. Thoughts?

Since the bulbs are LED you'll have to run a 50watt resistor across each turn signal wire to not have the fast-blink problem unless the kit includes something already.

This looks interesting. Having been rear-ended in a car, don't want that experience on a bike. The more light, the better. Think this kit is going onto the wish list.

It may be possible to use your tail light running light wire to activate the running light portion of the turn signals.
