I used something very similar on my 2016 Africa Twin and it worked very well. (Rapid Bike Easy). The first year Africa Twins had an on/off throttle at low speeds, just awful it was. Not available for the CB1100 though. This looks like a very similar item. All it is doing is feeding back a colder intake air temperature figure than stock which in turn richens the mixture. I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

Not available for the CB1100 though"? There are some gadgets that "fit" the 2017 RS, at least the dealers said.

I meant the brand I used on the Africa Twin wasn't available for the CB1100, the brand you mention obviously is
