Which was the first year for an inline four "CB" series model with EFI world wide and in the U.S.? Let's make this easier to answer, by restricting it to "air cooled" bikes only.

Wow, I was just thinking about what a great bunch we've got here: friendly, helpful, funny members, eager to lend a hand or their knowledge for others, etc.,...when I got caught up in an interesting thread that I hadn't seen before (that was started about 2 1/2 years ago, and was recently raised from the dead). In the midst of it all, I was blown away by nasty remarks from a long-gone member here. Just to clarify my impression, and to verify that he wasn't just having a bad day here, I checked his other posts, and found that yup, they're almost all of the same vitriolic B.S., quite often directed at, or regarding the CB1100.
I'm sure Mr. Ferret has some fond memories of him by the looks of things... "Calamarichris". (I invite you to run a search on him and luxuriate in his own special brand of douchebaggery yourself.)

Even after all of these years, being active on many, many different forums, it still just amazes me, how some people compose themselves...the attitude, the insults, the "know-it-all" approach...oy. Can you imagine hanging out, or riding with a guy like this? You just KNOW people like this have ZERO friends whatsoever in real life, and feel they can get away with acting like a complete douche online without having to deal with any real consequences. But you have to wonder just exactly WHAT they're thinking with that kind of behavior? They must get some kind of thrill out of it. And if that's truly how they make themselves somehow feel "superior" to the rest of mankind, I can't feel much other than pity for the miserable excuse of a life they must have.

Hey looks like I'm close to selling my present bike, and am going to begin seriously looking for a 2014 DLX in or near New Jersey. Any leads or suggestions?

I spotted a pristine bike at a dealer about 2000 miles away with close to 1000 miles on it and the asking price of about a 8650. Any advice on considering that option versus something closer to home? Would prefer to see a bike before I buy it and avoid the cost of shipping.

Has anyone gone from a large windscreen like the National Cycle EX to a small Flyscreen like the Dart?

I like the protection the large shield provides, but I'm considering going to a Dart Flyscreen, primarily for the looks. But, if it is also quieter, that would be appreciated as well. I know that many have cut down their EX screens to reduce wind noise, and saving money must have factored into the equation.

If I'm going to reduce screen size, it might as well look good on the CB, which the Dart certainly does. I rode my CB for a full season without any windscreen, and apart from being very tiring after a day in the saddle, I didn't mind it that much.

After treating myself to a Staintune and a Remington 700 CDL "Lefty", my annual budget for fun is spent. Both cost about the same in Canada, so it is tough to decide which provides the most "bang" for the buck

Based on your impressions of the Dart Standard Flyscreen, I may add it to next season's wish list. How is it for noise and buffeting with a relatively tall rider?

As you can guess by the thread title I get the feeiling that my bike (2014) is running lean at 2400-2700 RPMs. I say that because my old CB750 had a bad habit of running lean on #4 when pressed hard, and it feels just like that. I think I hear it in the exhaust, but then again I am almost deaf. I think I feel it holding back, but then again I drag my feet when I am tired. It is not something I can put my finger on, it is just a feeling. Anyone else?
