Running like a top

When I purchased my CB 1100 RS June last year I did it to have a bike I
can ride all months long. But after sunny weather but still salt on the roads I decided not to ride with the CB. My other rides (1980 and 1986 Police Kawasakis) are also “good weather bikes”.
What to do?!
Found on eBay market place a 1996 Kawa GPX 600 R.
Ugly color scheme, ugly designed fearing, but only 450€

Bad weather bike is mine :excited:

Yeah, not gonna be afraid to mess that one up. That rear mud guard/plate holder is pretty dang awful.

How does she run? Looks like it could be some fun and when you're riding it you don't have to look at it. Bonus!

The ol' goat looks pretty good for 450 euros. The rear fender is indeed something, but as you said in other words, this is your beater.

Whats goin on with the tank there? Whats that black panel?
That’s a knee pad, part of the fearing. Must be detached before lifting the tank :dodgy:
Engineers who designed fearing/covers like this must be punished to attach and detache that thinks over and over again until they have learned NOT to design crap like this again. Cost me today 45 minutes to uncover the bike. Ok, next time will be a little bit faster...

Yes, the mud guard have to go... ;)
Runs pretty good. Drove 220 km/h (137 mph).

Also, woah. That is one radical seat lol.
Yeah, passenger gets a solid view.

As for a male driver, the seat has gotta work, right? Like, nobody designs a seat that would harm in such a way, eh?

Ha.. Have you ever seen a Gurney Alligator?

Yep, how would you like to rear end a car while riding that?

Whoa, it's funny how the Gurney Alligator makes the GPX 600 R look all the more attractive. By the way, that back fender on the Kawasaki looks perfect for riding in less than perfect weather. Nice find.

Ha, yeah. But I never want to make an emergency break with it... .
Thank God I'm to old to have kids, so ... ;)

Yes. I like to say: "There's always a fish in the lake uglier than yours". ;)

Yep, if you start gagging while looking at a Suzuki Madura, the NM4 will give you violent heaves. And Honda actually sells those things. Amazing.

Someone on the forum has an NM4 and likes it quite a bit.

It is rather unusual looking though.
