I WAS IN ENEMY TERRITORY.

Showed them what a real bike looks like! Hahaha.

I've pulled into a Harley shop with my bike before. It gets lots of attention. Lol.

I see you live in the heart of Harley-town. Nice.

[0011bc_imp]

Haha yea. That's the HD museum.

[the Ferret]

Actually I bet that's a great place to visit. Lots of history behind the brand of motorcycle.

It is, I'll be going there soon for the pre party for this:

Home - Brewtown Rumble
They have rotating exhibits too not just about Harley, about dirt track, cafe, ama, etc.

Dang, wish I lived close enough to go; looks like a fun time.
Nice photo - did you snap and run?

We're going to ride up for a tour sometime. Was planning on going to brewtown, but I'm running in a 5k that morning so it's unlikely. Looks like fun

Well done, 0011bc. Way to represent!!!

Now, MTC, you be very careful. My old Aunt Gertrude would have said 'Sonny, never walk where you can ride.'

it really is a cool place, I was really just joking around

[Ragtopme_imp]

The Harley museum is a great place-really enjoyed my visit there. Nice to see a CB on the grounds.

[LongRanger_imp]

I wonder what would happen if you parked your Harley at the Honda Collection Hall in Motegi? I imagine nothing but lots of curious glances, and zero contempt.

[Cormanus]

Dunno about that, LongRanger. I've heard plenty of contempt for Harleys from Japanese bike riders. Pity really.

I'm running in 11 organized 5Ks this year to commemorate my 55th birthday. I tossed the idea out to me wife as sort of a joke, but she took it seriously and had signed us up for several.

Good point. Maybe we will cruise up there. I'm also trying to get to Road America for Rockerbox and the vintage races. You going there?

[0011bc_imp]

Yea I'm planning on it. Might ride solo to that one leave the lady at home so I can put some 100 octane go fast juice in the bike for the ride up.

I've never understood the whole biker brand/style rivalry thing.

I'm usually happy just to see other people on two wheels. To me, the diversity of motorcycling is the next coolest thing to actually riding them.

I think my garage would be pretty awesome if I had my 1100 beside a Road King parked next to a GROM! I love them all.

World-class museum and you're treated well by everyone no matter what you ride in!
