Any interest in cams?

Josh, as you said:
This story isn’t over yet.
I’m just a guy in a garage with a combination of no fear and much beer.
These are what keeps your spirit going..carry on...
:)
P.S. When assembling = little bit less beer please :P

This may be worth watching as we digest the cam-doctor's progress, it explains fuel injection in a not so technical way;

10 minutes of your precious beer time.:beerchug:

Can you drink beer and watch all at the same time? :D

Yeah if done the right way you soak up both at the same time and be better for it.......................right?

Sounds plausible to me.

Josh, am I understanding that you have not bypass the O2 sensor?

Ben
The stock O2 sensor is removed. Bypass plug installed.

A WBO2 sensor was installed and the auto-tune add on box for the Dynojet Power Commander reads the exhaust gas. The power commander then adjusts the fueling in real time to the amount I request it to for various rpm and throttle positions.

Ecu is in, and of course it just started to rain ️

Going to fire it up now on the new ecu on the center stand. Half tempted to take it out on the wet roads.

Next I have to bring this back to life, stupid carbs!

Fired it up. Clicked into first on center stand- let it run a couple minutes to flow some oil. Then clicked through the gears rolling on the throttle.

Yea- no more speed limiter, buried the needle at 120.

Somewhere it kicked a CEL. Yeah!! My first bike MIL, fun.

Time to do a quick google how to figure out what it is unhappy about.

Not that the Honda engineers ever expected a flog on the center stand.

Much less with what I am messing with.

Yo Pete - many beers in again.

Anyone want to ride tomorrow?

Ridem32 tested his DLX reflash on the centrestand. Don’t recall he got a CEL.

Carbs are mechanical...time + practice = success for sure..
Beer is being poured into few barrels, so your throat can be reflushed as your ECM was :P:P

I have had an absolutely horrible day with all sorts of things going on beyond my control and unexpected so no time to play with the bike.

I am about to head out for a quick 30 minute ride, first time on tuned ecu, I need to stop at a gas station – but will report later this evening about any differences both felt and shown on the fuel trim table.

Again total running time will probably be 20 minutes, barely enough to get oil temp up.

Ugh.
