Has anyone put clubman handlebars on their bike have a problem with the controls hitting the tank with bars turned full? I just put some on its a very tight fit and I'm going to need to changes cables as the throttle is a little sticky and just too long now. But biggest problem is the controls hit the tank. does anyone have a fix for this?

I have no specific guidance on this, but I believe forum member Aussieflyer put clubmans on his CB:

He may have some additional insight...

Had them for a little while and hated them on this bike. Loved them on my old cb750 though. Just reroute your cables to get them to free up. I didn't have a problem with them contacting the tank till i wrecked.

I put some cable lube on the throttle cables and it's good now but full turn the contols still hit the tank. I'm thinking if I can put something on the front end where the steering stoppers are to not let the bars turn as far I would do that but I can't figure out where the steering stoppers are

I can't. The master cylinder hits the speedo

Yeah i forgot mine was touching the speedo too... i don't know if the 2013 and 2014 gauge clusters are the same width or not but that might be the difference. Also if you modify the steering stops that'll probably not let your neck lock work.

I've tried two different bars and gone back to the OEMs. Like several other things, they got it right the first time on this bike.
