I’m not sure what to say at this point.
I just took a look at mine and it is pretty nasty in that same area. And it’s from the chain lube. Mine isn’t dripping though, just a dirty mess that I now will be forced to clean up.
What are you lubing the chain with? If motor oil, well, there you go.

It is a self lubing chain with the oil dripping onto the chain by default .

If oil is all over the lower block near to left front sprocket, could be oil seal failure for the front sprocket counter shaft or the long "clutch stick", not sure what to call it, but a long stick that the lower clutch pump push into the gear box to actuate clutch. You can open up the cover and check that area. But its going to be gooey and messy...

Have you checked the cam chain tensioner area at the back and in the center of the cylinders?
Could be that whilst adjusting the tensioner something has been missed and oil could find it's way down where the starter motor is bolted to the engine;
The aluminium thing with the 3 bolts holding it to the cylinders;
Failing that it may be time to remove the left engine cover for a closer look, it means undoing the gear lever 10 mm m6 bolt, have a look there should be a small punch mark where the gap of the lever lines up with the shaft;
Undo the bolt and pull the shaft straight off and undo the 3 allen screws, you can put the gearlever back on without the cover, go for a ride if you have to and have a closer look if you have not done so already.
Nice job on the cleaning
