Yea- no need to buy one- I took a piece of scrap metal and a simple metal snip. 2 minutes later...back to work.

You'll also need a magnet tool for pulling the lifter buckets out.

Initial DIY service tasks will start with some diagnostic tasks (including honing in on the clicking noise reported on other threads).
Ordered Healtech ODB-H01 Diagnostic Tool from Podium Superbike (an auth dealer) for $229 (free shipping in usa). Also ordered Lisle 52700 Audio Stethoscope Kit for $20. Now Looking at valve adjustment threads (the members on this forum are so awesome) and my service manuals to create list of tools for that task.

TackLife Torque Drives 1/4" 20-200 in-1b and 1/2" 10-150 ft-1b for $27 each (Taiwanese w/good reviews). 4. Tusk Spark Plug 14mm Socket $17 (similar to forum recommended Motion Pro which is discontinued). 5. Ares 1/4" Flex Head Ratchet (for spark plug socket) $18. * Waiting to do diagnostics before continuing buying spree. OBW, bought some used aluminum fork assy's to test out my brushed alum refinishing techniques.
